Babysitting

We had the 3 little Beeman kiddos over for the day, and babysat them so their parents did some things...

And now for the reason I haven't posted these yet.....I have a very good excuse! :)

I had a special guest for supper that night! :)

Samuel came over and officially asked me to enter into a courtship with him, and of course, I said that I would! :) Andrew sneaked this picture of us while we were sitting around the table after supper talking - well, Samuel, Mommy, Daddy and the boys were talking, I was a little to shy to say much! :)

And, today is two months exactly since that day! Happy-two-month-anniversary, Samuel!!!!!!   :D

Martin Luther King Day

I usually don't pay much attention to this kind of holiday, but this year was a little bit different! :) You see, Samuel got of school!!! So, He, Bekah, Esther, Faith and Lizzy came for the day! And trust me, we packed in as much fun as we could!!!!! :D

First on the agenda was to part out about 250 chickens - and no, I didn't get a picture of that!

Then we played several games of volleyball, lunch, then played a few more games! :) Then we went for a hi the 5 acres Daddy bought a few weeks ago! This was my first time to set foot on the place, but Daniel and Andrew had been on it before.

I spent all of last Wed taking sausage on and off the smoker with Sarah and Mr. Childress! This was the last of 5 batches going out! I don't think I make a good bandit! :P
